Before and After Your Pet’s Surgery

While under our care, your pet will receive excellent treatment, and we’ll also make necessary provisions to ensure that anesthesia is as safe as possible. These include pre-anesthetic blood testing, IV fluid therapy to maintain hydration and blood pressure, and sophisticated monitoring and nurse supervision. All of these are standard operating procedures at our practice.

After your dog or cat’s surgery is complete, we’ll provide you with instructions for how to care for them from home as they recover. We’ll also provide you with any necessary pain medications. Please feel free to ask us any questions you have during your pet’s recovery. We’ll be happy to help.
