Dr. Elena Rosenbaum

Dr. Elena Rosenbaum was born and raised in a small, rural town in northwest Indiana (Kouts), where she grew up with a marjorie of animals from cats and dogs to small exotic pets. Although the love for animals was always present, it wasn’t until after finishing her Bachelors of Science degree in both chemistry and biology at the University of Indianapolis that she decided to pursue veterinary medicine. The combination of a love for science and medicine with that of animals and the human-animal bond, made veterinary medicine the ideal career for her. “Dr. Elena” obtained her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Purdue University in 2022.

In her free time, Dr. Elena enjoys artistic pursuits from playing piano to embroidery/cross stitching at home with her multiple cats. You may see one of her cats, Crush, on our website as he is often at the clinic for the staff’s emotional support kitty. Crush is a people-lover, so please feel free to say hello when he is here!
